Constantius II, 337-361. Solidus (Gold, 22 mm, 4.60 g, 6 h), Thessalonica, 337-340. FL IVL CONSTAN-TIVS P F AVG Laurel-and-rosette-diademed, draped and cuirassed bust of Constantius II to right. Rev. VICTORIA DD NN AVGG / TES Victory advancing left, holding trophy in her right hand and palm frond in her left. Depeyrot 4/2. RIC 26. An attractive and well pedigreed coin. Very minor flan fault on Constantius' cheek and with very light doubling on the reverse, otherwise, extremely fine.
